doing a m deer, my first. When i recieved the cape it was salted heavily, and very stiff. I've done several w/t deer using dp on fresh hides. ? is what to do about hide stiffness,and can I mount this hide using dp method

soak it in some water till it rehydrates you may want to add some kind of Relaxing chemical in the water then just put some DP on and mount as normal
