I need some help. I have just fnished my second deer mount (its in the drying process) and everything turned out realy good but for one exception. While adjusting the hide on the form near the chest of the deer I pulled a little to hard on the fur and pulled out a plug the size of a quarter. I tried super glue but the hair keeps falling out and there is no matching with the surounding hair. I was just wondering what I sould do? It makes me sick that everything else has turned out great except for this glich. I will never pull on the hair agin.

well you got the first part right don't pull on it. Ok if you have any kind of the hide from what you trimmed off you could cut and glue a piece from that.Make sure the hair matches though i've colored the hair in the past to match. Or you could disfugure the area to look like a scar.If its your deer you still can fix it over time when you get the proper hide color configuration from leftover trim.I hope i helped you good luck.
