Hi Guys,
Already checked the archives but couldn't find what I was lookin for. customer wants a set of hooves mounted with his shoulder mount. I skinned these out and salt dried for Tannery. after getting this done I realized that I had never done these this way. I've always DP'd my hoof mounts. Just wondering if this is the CORRECT procedure to have my tannery do them.
Thanks Guys, Lance

Yes, but I have to ask: WHY?

You stand a great chance in having the hooves lost at the tannery. These fit right up there with buffalo scrotums. They're small, had to punch code and easily lost thought the grates. Why not DP them as you've been doing. They're not GOING ANYPLACE and the mannikins will work exceptionally well.
