Rehydrating ear butts on mount

I have a deer mount that I did last year and am not happy with the ear positions. The butt material is of potters clay, and the liners are the bondo method. Is it possible to re hydrate and re position the ears a little after a year? And if so, how?
Thank you, Mike

You can take a syringe and fill it with water and inject it into a few spots where the clay is. Then take a wet towel and wrap it around the ear and bag it up over night. It may take a day or two but it should rehydrate the area.

Thanks, Frank
