Help with Pedestal mount

Is there any one that can explain to me how to mount a pedestal whitetail?

I did one once before and wasted a real nice cape. please help with good detailed direction if possable or were I can go for info.

You mount it as you would any other deer. The tricky part may be the attach point, but if you have a mounting stand, attach a piece of plywood to the stand, mount a "fake" pipe or post that matches the one you intend to use when finished on the plywood and then mount your deer. As for me, I take a Dremel and I cut a channel in towards the center of the mannikin all the way around the perimeter about 1/2 inch inside the edge of the mannkin. Then I tuck the deer hide down into that slot. If I'm using doeskin or felt, I cover the back of the pedestal with it first and also tuck it into the slot. If you're using the deers hide, you'll need to cut it as you go, leaving about a 6 inch "strap" at the top attached so that you can have a clean transition as you tuck the remainder in the channel.

I can't imagine anything else giving you problems.
