I have the mount drying and noticed the ears are back a little too far. It's been 3 days since I mounted it but the clay inside the ears isn't hard yet. Is there any hope of moistening the hide and trying to taxi the ears up closer before it gets any more dry?

Wrap a wet towel around ear or ears. When moist enough, taxi to where you like. Hope it helps
