Is the moist potters clay that you can purchase from hobby lobby worth buying for forming ear butts on whitetails or does it shrink too much. Thanks

It's a great price the cheap stuff but just watch it use only on heavy haired ears
It does shrink a lot. AND Forget it on African or short haired anything.Works good in feet on most furbearers.
I get the white clay though it doesn't look like white but grey and that one doesn't shrink as much as the grey one does.
If you want less shrinkage but you have to watch out cause it will set up a little faster you can mix dry plaster of paris in the clay you are using at that time and nothing else. This will take out moisture and the plaster will stop a lot of the shrinkage.
