Micro-tan company is based in Illinois, and tan capes with a wet tan process. Anyone use this company, and what were the results? I,m interested in sending them a whitetail cape for tanning. It will be sent frozen and raw, because they do the fleshing also. Any help about this company and reliability would be appreciated.

i tried micro tan and was very disappointed. i have sent everything from mountain lions to whitetails to tarheel for three years and have nothing but good things to say about them.
about 6 capes a few years ago. After 4 months I called to see how they were coming along because they should be done. They couldn't find them. After a while the capes were located and were finally gotten to. They only get one chance with me. And that was it being a couple months late. WCI was another disaster with 6 of my capes. I recieved them thawed and sopping wet in plastic bags. Refroze them immediately. They all slipped and a lot of facial cuts. Took up to 3 months to get a replacement from them. Never again.

They used to be a good tanner, but have gone down the tubes in the last few years. They completely butchered several of my capes, a couple even beyond repair. When attempts were made to contact them...they wouldnt respond.
