This is the pedestal deer I'm taking with me to the PA competition and convention. It took a long time just to finish it, and I put in all the details I could, with the help of reference pics. I really think this is my best yet, What do you all think?

An okay mount overall, I like the back of the pedestal, very unique. Since everything is dry and ready to go, one change I'd make is to lightly airbrush white over the pink in the ear to tone it down some, it's to loud. It might be the angle of the of the straight on shot, but it looks like your front lower lip line is shifted to the left and it looks like your lips pulled in general. You could put a wet towel just on the lip line area to rehydrate. Then retuck them.... good luck at the competition.
There are some obvious problems. The pits don't look aligned properly. The lip line looks odd. The black line along the lips does not look natural and there is no upturn on the rear corners. The eyes look droopy and the dark area around the eyes is to prominant. To much pink on the ears. For sure I'd tone down the pink, repaint the eyes, rehydrate the lips and rework them.
In addition to the valid points already stated.....I'd tone down the black of your nose pad. If you have the time get some Yox Nose Pad Grey from WASCO. If not, just mist some pink over it, very lightly.
Overall it looks very nice and even if you don't make any changes it looks good.
