Bill Yox - the mule deer question

thanks for the information (and "hidden" advice :-), so now many of my questions were answered. Time is not a big consideration. Funny story, but he was given to my uncle all those years ago and I always liked him and received him several years ago when my uncle's wife didn't want him hanging there anymore :-) We moved and before rehanging him, time to "dress him up". So now the big question - yes I left my email not knowing if anyone would answer here, but how do I locate someone - I'm not a hunter and he's the only mount I've ever had.....you always hear go here or there and then the next person has some horror story about the place :-) Only option I really have is to begin in the phone book - any ideas for VA? AND, where are you? - esp. since you are being so helpful!

PS - I want him (George - had to name him, he's been in the family too long - hahahaha) to look as he does now, but without cracks in his ears and hair beginning to fall out :-) email me if I can send you a pic and we can talk a bit more. And yes, I guess in my case expression would be the most important. thanks again.

Did you give him a last name ? Like Roof, by your description , he sounds just like a George we all know on here. lol

I would say if you want to begin locally, to check the yellow pages. Call the guys near you, listen to what they have to say, and based on your instincts, pay a few a visit. This is like any other purchase, some homework goes a long way, when you are paying a minimum of a few hundred dollars. Then take the advice I gave you once you see the work. In my opinion, and its just that...Id favor earliners on mulies, a tanned cape, rotating the eyes, and some background in mule deer work.

As for your other question...For what its worth, Im in NY state. Im comparitively expensive. Ive got a hefty return time, youd wait close to two years here. But Im not too shabby, either. But...theres plenty of room in between, in miles, price, time and quality. I hope this works out well for you! Be honest though, how many "offers" did you already receive via email? Hahaha! I KNEW it!
