I have two deer head that were done for me 15 years ago before i started doing taxidermy myself. both ears are split at the ends and the liners are showing. is there any way to soak them up and re stitch them.

But the question I'd have to ask myself is: "Is it worth the effort?" If the antlers are good, I'd toss up the idea of replacing the hide and making a new mount. Even old farts like me think that work I do now is better than what I did 15 years ago. I know the supplies certainly are.
