Dan takes a scalpel and cuts a little more foam out for the crease in the eye,he shows this in Taxidermy Today,I don't remember which issue it was in.

Theres no way I would use them. If your problem is eye shape GET SOME REFERENCE PHOTOS and use them, dont just take a glance and chunk them. Theres no way I would take somebody elses work and frankly they look pretty horrible anyways. Just my 2 cents.

I used them

for my first two mounts. I figured I would focus on the fitting of the hide, sewing, and overall appearance of the mount. Then I went to forms where I had to set my own eyes. I think they work well for a beginner, and there are those here, who use them all the time. It just depends on what you like.

I like the Rinehart forms. I don't do usually do too much with them to prep them for mounting. I trim a little around the edges and in the inside corner and I dremel out the tear ducts a little and that about it. Sometimes I use Magic Sculpt to build up certain spots for a desired expression. The main problem that I have with Rinehart forms is a lack of form choices and sizes. Ever since McKenzie bought them out they have not put any effort into expanding the Rinehart line and therefor I use other manufactures forms more and more.
