I have not seen your set, but I know that on occassion the color can be embedded into the bone and it is almost impossible to remove the color. The two times I have seen this in my collection was once a found skull in water with lots of oak leaves that stained it, and another time Back in the 1960's when I still burried skulls in soil. The soil was bright yellow clay colored and left the bones a tannish color through-and-through. I don't believe the color can be made right without extensive damage to the bone. Just consider them a piece of beauty - almost all pliestocene bone are brown when removed from caves or bogs or peat. I expect Mammoth and Mastodon Bones to be brown, mekes them look cool.
