Antler Repair

It's been a while since I repaired a broken tip on an antler. I use to use wire and Apoxie Sculpt. Are there any better methods out there these days?

JT, I like the Apoxie Clay best as it does not shine as much. I keep a pile of sheds and when I can find a good match for the broken tine I use the natural piece blended with the Apoxie clay. Enjoy, Aaron H.

The Best is Epo-Grip

They have a epoxy mix that is the closet to the color of a real antler.
First you simple build out the antler with regular epoxy. After that sets up I take the antler repair mix and go over that epoxy with it. As this sets up you can add groves in it or leave smooth.
