I am going to try a pair of the True Eyes from matrix masters and I was wondering if you have to drill out the eye socket deaper or if you have to do anything else special for their competion eyes.
Thanks Jason

I dont want to sound like Im hammering you in particular, but lets walk this through...the eye is tall, or high profile, correct? And all forms are shaped different for recieving any style eye. So, youll expect to clean out the socket a bit either way, so thats that. On the Eppely eye, youll need to quickly buzz out some material so you can set the eye deeper as well as rotate to the desired angle. Jason, the best way to check depth is to take some spare clay and fashion some eyelids after you set the eye. If the lids look good, youre in the ball park. If they require too much clay, the eye is too far out, if the lids cover the eye, the eye is set too deep. See? Ive been threatening to do the article about these eyes for Breakthrough, I guess Id better get after it! Jason, good luck to you.
