I have a large non-typical full body whitetail to mount. The customer came in with a visual picture of the deer with its head down and a rear foot scratching behind its ear. When I checked my current catalogs, I found a very close pose in Joe Coombs(CVH451). I need a 7 1/4 x20 head/neck and this form is 7 1/8 x14 1/2. The girth is small by a couple of inches but the N-T is OK. Would I be better off going to a form that is much more close in size and alter it for the scratching pose with head lowered or take another shoulder form in the size I need and mold it to the Coombs form? I realize that this is going to be a ton of work either way and the customer knows it is going to be more $$. Any advice would be appreciated.Any suppliers who might have a similar pose would be great. Thanks.

had a form that was close and i only had to alter head that is what i would alter - or buy a shoulder form that is 'exact' and fit it to full body form - that is probably the best route if customer will pay for all the extra work
