Whitetail judges needed for Critics' Corner

Submitted by Glen Conley on 3/11/06 at 1:43 PM. ( g.conley@verizon.net ) 70.104.113.95

Matt Baer has submitted a whitetail for critiquing on Critics' Corner on hidetanning.net. He is wanting suggestions so he can move in the direction of competition. He is from Ohio, and we all know that Ohio has produced more than it's fair share of outstanding whitetail taxidermists. So give him some critiques, and show NO MERCY!

incase Matt doesn't know, I would like to invite him PTO Taxidermy show coming up at the end of the month. Lots of great seminars with loads of tips and instructions.
Also as you know, he can still get in the Whitetale hands on seminar that Hilton Eppley is doing. Below is the info for this years show. If any more info is needed just email me.

There still is plenty of time to pre-register for the Ohio State Taxidermy Championships MARCH 31, APRIL 1 & 2. This show is put on by the Professional Taxidermists of Ohio. On top of a GREAT lineup of seminars we also have FREE FOOD SATURDAY! That's right. Attend the show and you never even have to leave on Saturday for a thing. Doughnuts for the AM. Deli Trays for lunch and the FAMOUS PIZZA PARTY for dinner. What a deal. Feel free to email me or call 330-878-7405 for more info. Here is the show schedule:

Thanks Glen and Heath, I was wondering if I would be getting any king of info back after I pre register? I sent all my info in 2 weeks ago and haven't heard anything back. Just wondering. Can't wait for the show, glad it's so close. See ya there.

Darn, Heath,

by the time you guys get through making Matt feel at home, and then feed him, you never will be able to get him to leave.

Matt, Heath and Hilton used to work together at the old Buckeye Mannikins plant. The impact that the guys that made up that crew has had on modern whitetail taxidermy CAN NOT be denied. You are in for one loaded week-end. Opportunities for learning like Heath has outlined above do not come along every day. Hands on learning, free food, free form, what more could a feller ask for?

I know! Let's ask Heath for a critique on your whitetail mount! C'mon, Heath, you can do it! (nothin' like puttin' a feller on the spot)

Jeff Morris has submitted the first critique, which is now posted on the page. Thanks, Jeff!

Same Ol' Heath.

He hasn't changed a bit over time. He still just jumps right in there and gets 'r done!

Matt, Heath has added to your page. Once everybody reads Heath's comments, future submitters will be thinkin', "Boy, I hope that Heath guy critiques my mount."

Thanks, Heath, yer a heck of a good sport.
