i'm going to spin dry my deer cape in the wifes washer tomorrow saftee acid instructions calls for pull the cape out of pickle after 3 days drain shave put back in for 24 hours neutralize and tan my question is do i need to nuetralize before cape goes into washer will the acid damage inside of washer if it's chipped can i put it straight into washer without nutralizing. thanks in advanced

A chipped washer tub should be protected by netrizing first. A non-damaged tub may withstand an acid spin.......it is porcilin protected.........or just ad your estimation of filling the tub with a gallon of water, add sodium bicarbinate( 1-2 oz) and spin!
if my wife caught me doing this the washer would be the least of my problems
i have been using the washer @ dryer for 25 yrs no problems just clean them out, in the dryer use cool cycle put 2 towls in, when finished run cycle again to get mousture out.
My wife is more understanding than yours. She even let me wash a load of Mustard Greens in the washer. I had to cook them myself, too. But then again she doesn't allow any snakes.
