How do professional taxidermists attach braided rope around deer antlers? I just glued it around the antlers and it works fine, but I was wondering if there was a better way. thanks

That is the same way that I attach the rope. I glue the ends together around the burr and glue it in about two spots to hold in place.
I use hot glue.
