I Bid and won an 18in whitetail cape on e-bay. Came to 67 dollars with shipping. Was supposed to be sent out Monday frozen, wrapped in newspaper and overnighted. Well on this warm 82degree day of Friday, I had a nice smelly ruined cape sent by regular mail. So nice to get [expletive deleted] isnt it? The man calls himself (capeman). Just thought all should know

did you ask for a refund? i sent a cape out on monday about a month ago it got there nice and smelly on friday(on this site, not e-bay) his name was eric edwards. well eric salted it and was gonna try to see if it worked and i told him whether it worked or not i dont want a dime cause i expect the customer to get exactly what they pay for!
contact the seller and see if he will work with you. you may have already contacted him, but in your above post you mentioned nothing of the sort. if you did and he was a jack ass then i'm sorry you got screwed, if you have'nt get your ass off here and on e-bay and tell him to get you what you paid him for. let us know awhat happened after you contacted the seller so we can make our judgements from that.
has policie's to protect it's buyer's and seller's.Try contacting your seller if he'll work with you that's great if he's a problem contact ebay.As far as the bashing it's funny that doesn't happen when your dealing with mature adult's now does it.OR MAYBE SOME OF US JUST NEVER GROW UP.In any case good luck jh hope it works out for you but it's best to buy off here ok hope i helped .
a fox that was totaly ruined when it got to me it took 14 gays to get here got lost or someting but the ebay seller sent me another to cover the lost one so contact him and see what happens before you contact ebay.
and by the way most of the time its cheaper to buy from here then on ebay...:)
Am new to all this and was only trying to state that I got screwed on ebay. Could do without all the name calling ect. And yes i contacted the seller and am mailing back. He said we will make good on it. Am so glad my bad judgement on using ebay ammused some of you.JH

I have never messed with ebay. But I am a leery person anyway. I would not ever try them just too many people on ebay making phony business profits on there. I would reccommend buying items from guys and gals on this site or other related sites that someone from here informs us about. I just bought a mule deer set of antlers from Antler Tom today I hope they are as good as the photo shows. I am anxious to receive them in a few days.

damn i have been doing taxidermy for about ayear now and im glad that i have had good transactions on taxidermy net in the past, because if this was the first post that i saw i would find a new place to do business. i thought the idea of this website was to help people not cut them down when they try to help you by warning you of a bad dealing. i guess the term PROFESSIONAL taxidermist is a relitive term, so far, what i have seen from these no name professionals makes me wonder why anyone who has the lack of class to cut someone down for really no reason, doesnt have the courage to stand up and post his name with his or her inappropriate post. if you are going to be a dick grow some balls.
I agree. I am new to taxidermy and thought i was doing the right thing by writing my bad expierence to warn other would be buyers from this guy on ebay. Instead I got..well you read them. Especially the one who called me a dumb a$$. Thats what i really hate about computers. Anybody can hide behind their keyboard and grow some really big balls. Whom ever he is, I would LOVE to have say this to my face. But whatever. Anyway thank you Matt for your sympathy! ha ha. JH
