Someone brought a deer head in and the nose had been eatin off by a dog. Can i take a nose off another cape for it and sew it on or is it better to get a new cape

then just the nose pad i would believe that it is going to be more then the nose damaged. Such as lips top and bottom. If so I would get a new cape. If it is only the nose pad I would rebuild the nose with apoxy and just use mod podge to texture the nose. I like two things for doing this, 1 is the e-z nose bottle with a #1 tip or one of those nose pad molds sold by Larry jones. If you have all of the hair then the replacement nose may work, I have never used one on a deer.
I know that if I had to sew a whole nose on, it would show and I would not be happy. i think that if I am not happy it shouldn't leave the shop. I know sometimes you just can't help things but some can be avoided.
