After I was reviewing my topic on leather antler mounts I realized something else didn't make sense. This is probably simple to you, but how do you attach the whole mount to your panel if you formed it before attachment? Crusty, you recommended attaching with string and two bolts, but is there an easier way? Should I just screw it from the back? I have plenty of time before hunting season to learn how to do these mounts correctly so I should probably work out everything that doesn't make sense. Thanks for your help.

I line it up hold it flat laying across two pcs. of wood clamped in a wide v then pop in a couple of 1 1/2 BRAD nails then turn over and screw in a couple of 1 3/8 deck screws. Besure to predtill your panel for the screws. You do not have to use brad nails just work with one screw at a time.
