Just acquired some really impressive whitetail racks that were in a smokey enviroment for many years. They are really stained up with nicotine. Any advice on what will cut through this gunk?

You might try the new foam cleaners, but you really should look in our archives. Click the orange SEARCH icon in the left margin and type "smoke stained antlers" in the box.
Van Dykes has what your looking for, I tried it and it worked.
i remounted an old buck that had been in a bar for several years and then it went into a tire shop for a few more years.i cleaned it up with oxiclean and a toothbrush.it removed all the stains.down to the white.
