I just changed out the free down-load reference photo on the Whitetail Designer Systems web site. It is one of those bigger than life kind of close ups that should help a number of you out.
With it being bigger than life where you can get a good view, would one of you young fellers with good eye balls fix yer Uncle George up with a paint schedule for this one? He's probably sittin' there laughing, knowing that I'm up to something on this paint schedule request. Teamed up, I know we can help him out.

I spy something green, with little wings. Does not run like a deer, but flys like a house. Look closely.
The leaves are fall yellow and reddish brown.
The new forms are black.
The stumps are white and gray.
No help on that nose pad paint schedule from the breakfast or lunch crowd. Maybe someone from the dinner crowd will help out. They might also tell you how high to build those nodules. Hang on, Buddy! We'll save ya!
sitting on the nose
need a microscope to paint the eyes on that little critter lmao
lets see
spray stop -rot to presere the fly
then modge podge
then flesh on the nose to cover the in between parts
then a little paynes grey on the bottom lip and get a burnt umber mix to color nose getting a little darker as you go up
texture the wings of the fly with a little more modge and the nodules
in 2 or three sittings
Glen do you have any molds to fit that fly
can we dry preserve it or should we cream tan or ive got it
well submerse that critter
lmao
