I took in a buck recently that has both G2's and both G3's broke off approx 1/4" above main beams, of course the customer wants them all rebuilt, to my suprise he did have cam photo's of this buck dating late sept for reference to determine tine lengths for repair or rebuild. So this will be my first time repairing or even rebuilding tines , what should I charge for the repairs and what reccommendations might anyone have for what I am up against. Thanks in advance for any help.

I searched on the little orange button and $25 per tine is what I found. My customers don't seem to have a problem with it.
I hit the search button first but must not have typed in enough info, The customer said he didnt care what it cost to repair the broken tines just add it to the cost of the mount. I beleive $25 to be sufficient for each tine rebuild. Thanks
I think thats low. I charge $10.00 per inch and no one ever seems to mind. You'll spend several hours on this job.
broken fork on the left and a broken tine on the right. $50.00 extra was added to the cost of the mount. I didn't make or loose any money on it.
ive never had to do it but i do know that the guy who taught me charges $10 per inch. i thought it was high but he assured me that once i took on a job like that id understad it.
I charged 25 for my first three repairs and after doing the work decided that my time is worth more, so now I charge a min. of $40 per basic repairs. You will understand after you try one, and if the customer truly wants it fixed they wont mind! Good Luck!
That's what I charge in my shop and have no complaints on the cost. There is alot of work involved most of the time and sometimes you have to play around with the coloring process. Hopes this helps and enjoy.
charges $18 per inch. He is awesome, you can't tell it was even broke. Some clients balk at the price, but it doesn't matter to me if they fix it or not, it's their rack.
