Well I am still workin on my first mount its been nothing but trouble but today I removed the cartilage from the ear and underneath was a large red spot. I dont know if I just leave it and cover it with paint when the mount is finished or if there is something that can be done now?

then you should airbrush your ears to cover that. If its blood then it will be a brown spot when you're done. But brown spots should be airbrushed over same as red spots.
