Thanks for the T.Net's front page.

A million thanks to Larry Bloomquist for the photo and to Ken Edwards for the great honour to be on T.Net's front page, this is beyond my
my wildest dreams.
It's a great feeling to be honored for a piece that I had so much fun to put together.I think that I succeded in moving emotions to viewers at the canadian show.
The scene that I wanted to create could be named "The intruder",it is the peak of the rut,the doe is realy in oestrus and has choosen that buck to mate, her fawn sneaks in between when another buck comes to challenge the choosen one.The buck and fawn are aware of the situation but the doe doesn't care because her time has come...

My work was rewarded with:

The WASCO award (my third one)
The people's choice (masters)
Highest scoring whitetail (masters)

Now my brain is burning with new scenes for next year, and hope that this piece is an inspiration to others to create wildlife stories and to give back their dignity to all those beautifull animals.

Thanks to all of you,

Best regards,

Richard Bolduc
Austin Québec

p.s please excuse my bad english.

There was some discussion of your peice a few weeks back. To me, the mount looks like a family portrait. Very eye pleasing-- good job.

Great looking piece

mount. I agree with Andy, when I first saw it, I thought it looked like a family picture. I like how the doe is right up tight next to the buck. Congrats on your achievements with the piece, and thanks for opening my mind up. I have never seen a mount like it, neat!

Good Job Richard

When I first laid eyes on it I thought it was a great job, but some crack head named JIMMY made some stupid comments about it. Thumbs up for such a great mount and wish you luck on the next one.

good going

Nice job, Richard! Its good to hear from another one of our canadian friends.

You, "..hope that this piece is an inspiration to others.."

Wow, you are full of yourself aren't you? You opened yourself up to this by posting such a high-brow post. Richard, at least I am honest. I love your work and your composition, but I think it is a fake scene.

And then the finale, "I think that I succeded in moving emotions to viewers..". Wow, is this a Canadian thing, or are you just conceded and self-centered? Unbelievable!!

GREAT WORK RICHARD ! Thanks for sharing it !

My Beef? Well, Lance

This response submitted by Jimmy on 6/23/06 at 4:18 PM. ( ) 71.199.41.186

I stated my beef. My beef is it is a good piece of work, but it is fake. It lacks creativity and instead, relies on fake sentiment and false projections of nature. How about mounting an Alligator licking it's mate, or Brown Bear boar playing with some cubs?

Just wondering if you have ever seen any wild deer ? Are you a taxidermist or just a big mouth show boater ?
