what is the best way to tan antlers that are in the velvet stage

Gary, I have used the velvet tan by Knobloch, and the antlers were in the still in the growing state(early July) and it worked really well. I don't know that I would attempt it again though. It was alot of work to inject and force the blood from the antlers. Next time, I would probably have them freeze dried. The buck I did is in the McKenzie catalog. The buck was 182" and is in the 9700 series section.

gary,
i inject the antlers real good and then i will brush on the antlers about three or four times a day for about 2 days and then let dry. i do alot of antlers and it works good, freeze dry is going to cost alot and most customers do not want to pay it.
