I was wondering if someone could tell me where to look on the web that shows a great whitetail deer mount that would win shows. I see a lot of beginner deer on here shown but not many pics of the mounts by the award winning pros. Thanks, Mike

they sometimes post pictures of the winners in the different catagories.
Join your state association, go to the show and look at the mounts in person. Pictures do not do a great mount justice. Details in a three dimentional object are so much better then a flat picture. If you want to look at show winners or alot of mounts just go on the web pages of the taxidermists on this sight, there are thousands.

Although todays artist's can create very realistic looking mounts, nothing compares to the real thing. Live reference, and excellent photos will give you a better idea of what the judge will be looking for, rather than another artists best piece of work.
