I'm sick of reading these forums and seeing that this has become nothing but a crap talking chicken crap commentary. This is a forum for helping others out. If you can't answere don't comment. If you have to be rude or sick of seeing the same question, don't comment. There is a lot of newcomers out there that need help. If you can help them great, if not SHUT THE HELL UP! This forum is a good thing for newcomers and vets. Lets keep it that way!

Amen to that!

Probably half of these forums are bickering and a waste of time trash talk.

Another sleepless night Justin?

I see nothing in your post that contibutes anything positive towards deer taxidermy, which is the catagory you posted these words of wisdom.

Personally i saw nothing mean spirited about the advise you recieved. This site has a wealth of information available if you just learn to navagate it.If you choose not to study the information avaiable to you, and expect everyone to drop what they are doing everytime you need a phone number what would you call it besides lazy?

Calm down and take a deep breath.Look the site over and see what information is available. You can even do a google search on this site for information. To get to that you would have to click on the orange search button. Then if you cannot find it ask.If you can't afford 10 minutes of time to find a phone number, how will you ever be able to wait 120 days for a tannery to tan your hides?

I suggest that you take a few minutes and read the Forum Rules. There is a category for everything. If everyone would properly post their question or comment, the flow of information would be more organized. For those of us who are full-time taxidermists, we need a place to vent our frustrations with customers, politicians, and anti-hunters. That is why there is a category called Current Events. Everyone should use the search button to see if their question has been asked. If a satisfactory awnser has not been found in the archives, then present a question to the forum. If a question has been asked 1000 times, there are a thousand awnsers for it in the archives.

there are no new questions

This response submitted by Mr.T on 7/20/06 at 7:32 AM. ( ) 64.31.6.230

everything, I mean everything, has been asked before by newcomers, the answers are in the archive, links to almost every taxidermy vendor can be found at the top of this page. There is so much information to be FOUND by any individual here. Venting in the deer category only adds to the wasted space used to fill up the archive. Use the search button and links at the top before asking for phone numbers. GoOOOSshhh

Can someone help me...I am trying to preserve ostrich testicles for a necklace. I have searched the forum and it has not been covered! Anyway, Mr.T is right. Just about everything has been covered in there. There is a wealth of knowledge and you just need to learn how to use it. Taxidermists are a rare breed. Take everything with a grain of salt. Absorb what you need and discard the rest. If you don't have a sense of humor or can take being criticized than don't visit the "crap talking chicken crap commentary" Have a good day. Your friend,
chicken crap talking Dane

Well Justin...

This response submitted by Old Fart on 7/20/06 at 10:36 AM. ( ) 64.122.137.35

...Since you claim that you're not lazy as was suggested, perhaps you lack the mental capacity to figure some of this stuff out. By clicking on the SUPPLIER link above, I was able to find the information that you were looking for in 27 seconds. I've got dial up, it's slow, what can I say.

When I tried the SEARCH for "wildlife gallery" I got 495 entries, including the very FIRST one, that had ALL the information you requested, and more. That was even FASTER, so in case you actually are lazy, that might be the route you sould take in the future. Of course you will have to be able to spell it correctly. I mention that because you seem to lack a certain amount of vocabulary skills to express yourself in ways other than in comic book symbols.

This is actually a rather boring site. So when someone like you comes along we tend to have a little fun, kind of like finding a cat caught in a live trap. It's fun to take a stick and poke him until he gets really MAD. So if you wish to continue with your diatribe, go right ahead. Learn to use the tools of this site and it will serve you well. And remember, there will always be someone here with a stick! Who knows you might be lots of fun!

I aploogize

This response submitted by justin on 7/20/06 at 1:17 PM. ( ) 209.159.195.62

I didn't mean to vent the way I did but you ALL missed my point. I'm not having any problems and I'm not the Lazy One that Old Fart commented to in the post previosly and it wasn't even his comment. That is what got me going. If you have time to stop and write a little trash that you have time answere with the right question. I read a lot of these forums and people are trashing other peoples ideas and comments, so before you guys comment stop and think of how frustating it was when you started. So again I apologize for venting and using the wrong forum but the post prior got me going. And I am a Full-Time Taxidermist.

Self reliance and doing it yourself is the way!

This response submitted by Venting Taxidermist on 7/20/06 at 1:51 PM. ( ) 69.171.240.121

There is nothing wrong with helping others. However, this forum is like a narcotic. People get addicted to it by running over to the keyboard and typing in a question for anything WITHOUT looking for it themselves.

This is simply being lazy and getting a quick fix! Many "new-commers" have taken in work in which they are not qualified to do. And these same people want US to tell them how to do it. Now isn't this wrong in the first place to even do such a thing?

Also, if you are the "timid", complaining sort of person that is afraid to experiment and LEARN, if you are so sensative, if you just want to cry and have THIN SKIN, if you expect someone to hand what you want to you on a silver platter, just LEAVE and never come back here or go any place again via the inteernet or physically. You have become or were born worthless. Strike a nerve? Does it apply to you?

If you are sincere and really want to learn, YOU should expect to do the homework and the study without crying to the world over your stress and in ability and lack of knowledge.

In other words, STOP TRYING TO GET EVERYTHING FOR FREE. TAKE A TAXIDERMY CLASS and in doing so, perhaps you will learn to depend on yourself and accept help ONLY when you REALLY need it! There is a difference!

Another point lost

This response submitted by Justin on 7/20/06 at 4:02 PM. ( ) 209.159.195.62

Still more people not taking it for what it is. I am not lazy, timid or thin skinned just tired of hearing all this BS. If every question has been asked then whey are you still posting. I'm not "TRYING TO GET EVERYTHING FOR FREE," the help I have gotten here has been great. I was one of those people who started out with no schooling just three years ago and no I did not rely on this forum to bail me out. I have done A LOT of trial and error. But I have found a lot of useful info. So again the way I see it is if you have time comment with rude comments then you have time to help someone else out just like someone has helped you. And as for my work in just three years I have risen to be one of the better taxidermist in my area. Pretty good for no schooling and very , very little help from other taxidermists.

IF this IS true, take the chip off your shoulder and chill

This response submitted by LOL Venting taxidermist! on 7/20/06 at 4:13 PM. ( ) 69.171.240.121

No wonder our country is going to hell. Public education shows in most posts. Listen up "friend", I will give you my final FREE advice without charging you. Here it is...

Try, taking a break from the computer and from work for a few hours. Remove the chip, remember nobody is picking on you and you have nothing to prove. DON'T take everything as some personal attack.

As you grow and mature you will learn to stop and think about these matters before wetting your panties and eating ceral that was tinkled in by the cat.

Now laugh all of this off and have a nice day.

Thanks for the advice

This response submitted by Justin on 7/20/06 at 4:52 PM. ( ) 209.159.195.62

I needed that. I'm not taking things so personal and I don't really have a chip, I just tried making a point and no one has really gotten it. But thanks anyway. HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Justin, yes, we get what youre saying...

This response submitted by Bill Yox on 7/20/06 at 5:22 PM. ( ) 67.138.10.159

We have heard it all before. "If you can take the time to give a crap answer, or a snide remark, use that time instead to be of some help". Or, "If the question bugs you because youve seen it so much, simply pass it by, dont make it worse with crappy comments in return". See? We DO know what you mean...

To put it bluntly, as we have so many other times...nothing is for free. If you want an instant answer to taxidermy here, now and then youll pay the price, in the form of some kind of "crappiness" for lack of a better word. You need advice, they need to vent. This site serves many purposes. Yes, we could stand to be a bit nicer, we could stand to spell better. All in all, though, this site aint too shabby!

I agree

This response submitted by Justin on 7/20/06 at 7:19 PM. ( ) 209.159.195.62

I agree with you very much. This site isn't too shabby and that was my POINT. I like this and feel that it's a very good thing, so we need to preserve that. And as for the FREE part I have no clue where that even came from. When I get on this site all I'm looking for to learn from others mistakes and help others not to make the same ones. So in conclusion, people can twist my first comment all over hell and make up this thing that don't even exist, but my point still stands this site is a very good thing and people should not abuse it and push people away. Thank you all for your input.

I'm the guy that said you were lazy. You asked a question that could have very easily been answered if you had taken the initiative to look first. How old are you? 18,19. Damn I think I've been listening to George too long.

Oops

This response submitted by John on 7/20/06 at 10:00 PM. ( ) 24.174.134.185

I must withdraw this comment to Justin and say to Jason. Sounded and typed the cartoon language just like Jason did when I said he was lazy.

weed it out and ignore it like some of us do with all the liberal mantra in our lives. Whoops, sorry wrong category.

I sure hope this helps, Justin.

I get what you are saying. There are some real peckerwoods on this site. Not very long ago I discussed this same topic. While there are some dinks that just try to rile people up, most really are trying to help. You will find it in your best intrest to read and re-read posts before replying to them. Sometimes things come off different than how they were written.
