So I got me a wet tanned 7x20 cape yesterday, and I checked it out pretty closely and it looks good. I went ahead and wrapped it back up real good, double bagged, (One ice type bag, and then a garbage bag) Is that suffcient for storing it for a couple of weeks. And also when I looked at it, It was soaking wet, When I go to use the cape for my form do I need to let it air dry or towel dry it a bit. Cause I was thinking this would cause a problem with the adhesive when I go to mount up. Any thought...

Some people mount them dripping wet others towel dry and some tumble before mounting. First off check to meake sure there is no hair slipping then go. I would suggest taking a towel wiping the water from the inside of the cape, your adhesive will stick. If you do mount dripping wet, then after it is mounted take towel and gently wipe down your mount, use it to your advantage and mold the muscle defention with the hair. Get a fan on it and let it dry.
When I first took it out of the bag, there was one little chunk of hair that came out. I tugged on a couple of other spots and it all seemed to be in tact and staying in place. But I was concerned about this. Is there anything that I can do to prevent further slippage, or is it possible it was just a single spot that had the issue.
It is possible that it is just one spot but inspect when you pull it out again because there very easily could be more. Contact the person you bought it from and let them know. If possible try to line a new cape if needed. If you do need one I have pleny extra.
