I am trying to come up with an unusual name for a taxidermy business. it would only deal with fish and deer. have thought about trails end but that was taken. anyone have any good ideas for a name? I think ive worn out every possibility that has all ready been used in this area.

Go with something you like, they are all pretty much taken, if not in your state, then in another. Look up the trade names in your state. I did that before I registered mine. You should be able to check on your state's dept. of revenue website.
Scales and Whitetails Taxidermy
some of your local wildlife. Before I came up with my name I thought about Whippoorwill Taxidermy, Red Barn Taxidermy ( cause I work in a little red barn). A wanted something that meant something to me or was familiar to the local guys. You could go with something like Fins and fur, Buckshot & bucktails, Racks and Rivers, etc. all you have to do is write every one of them down and then after about a week, decide.
Scales N' Tails Thats not mine but cute
Wings & Water (Probably taken)
Water & Woods
Wild Thangs Taxidermy
Fins, Fur & Feathers is a pet shop here in NC
What about Hair of the Dog? hahah just joking.
I like Scales N Tails. That seems to fit pretty well. BP
I thought of it after I had already started using a diferent name. I like it better than the name I originaly came up with. Good luck.
I'll put my vote in for Scales N'Tails Taxidermy. Fits pretty good and is easy to say...which helps alot.

There is some place I ran across I think in AL when I drove to Mississippi to visit my sister that was wings & water or something.. let me find the card... It was a sporting goods store of enormous porportions and furniture..unbelieveable! I wished I had $100,000 laying around to buy all that furniture.
Yep Woods & Water in Northport, AL hmmm I see on card they have a website
www.woods-n-water.com
of Scales and Tails too when I first read the question.
What about Bucks & Bass Taxi.

LOLThere is NO WAY I would call my studio "Racks". I have a hard enough time as it is keeping a "low profile" LOL.
...you go with "Laura's Taxidermy Just for the halibut"
I like it.

I always thought that the best name for a taxidermy shop would be . . .
"The Taxidermy Shop"
It sounds stupid at first but think about the conversation at hunting camp -
"Where ya takin' him to get mounted?"
"The Taxidermy Shop!"
Just my $ .02 . . . adjusted, of course, for inflation!

below the title " no rack too small, no hog too big "
