seem to be having a problem with getting my eye colors down right any suggestion?

What coloring are you talking about the eye itself or the skin around the eye? The eye itself I use the medium deer color. As for the skin around the eye, there are quite a few options for that I would say. Myself I put on a light coat of white, then some flesh, then I use chocolate brown, and lastly I put on black umber aorund upper and lower lids, staying away from front corner of the eye.
