Display manikins/mounts

Do any of you guys have several shoulder mount manikins or completed shoulder mounts of different poses (upright, semi-upright, etc.) on display for customers to see? If so, how many? Are they from one supplier or do you have a mix of manikins/mounts from different suppliers? Do you feel the customer likes to see what the mount pose looks like in person instead of just looking at a picture in a catalog or poster?

Limit their choices

I put up the McKenzie poster in my shop. I have on display uprights, upright wall pedestal, and semi-sneaks. I don't care for full sneaks, so I don't display them (unless its a customer mount that hasn't been picked up yet). I don't display all the off-set shoulders, semi-uprights, pedestals, and such. Most of the time, a customer will take a semi-sneak. I probably mount 75% of my deer on semi-sneak forms. They are certainly welcome to pick a pose off the poster, but I just can't keep a mount of all the different poses on display. I know some guys that offer upright or semi-sneak in either left or right turn...that's it. They don't even put up a poster or offer other options.

I accomodate their requests if they have seen a friend's mount that is in a specialty pose or floor pedestal, but I certainly don't advertise them...mainly, because the sizes are limited and I hate having to do major alterations (even though I charge extra).

In my shop

I have several wt mounted in different poses with that exact manikin right next to it. My customers seem to like the idea of seeing the manikin that is in each mount. I wouldn't display any pose you do not like to do, they will all choose that one.
