Have a question, after painting and finishing around the eyes do any of Y'all put some kind of gloss on the eye? on a lot of the better looking mounts the eyes are so glossy, What do they put on them

that is about the easiest and quickest
Brush it on with a small paint brush...works like a charm.
Instead I put the clear coat on the eyelids only. For comp mounts I put several coats on the lower eye lids. I`ll position the head where I can get a drop on my brush and just touch the upper corner of the eye and let it fill the crease and the lid...take a look at any pet and look at the build up of clear fluid adjacent to the lower eye lid..the judges seem to like it too..sometimes it takes 7 to 10 drops to get it to look right..glass is glass and should be shiney without any gloss on it anyhow..just my two penny`s
