Has anyone been sccessful in cuting bare spots around lips and sewing?its very short hair and the spot is about the size of a quarter

I think that if you cut out a spot that big the best bet would be to pin it in place rather than try to sew it. Problem is, there is not a lot of extra skin in that area to begin with so it can throw your patterns off if you cut it out.
