Hey John
I read your post about deer noses- excellent by the way!
You mentioned a $2.97 tool from Walmart. Can I ask what that little tool would be?
Thanks

I'm the guy John E-mialed the pictures to. In the pictures it shows the applicator. Its a small plastic bottle about 6 or 8 oz. It has a plastic tip on it to apply the mod-podge with. I've seen something at a craft store but cant remember the name of it, its the same kind of bottle, a pointed tip and a cap and its almost like mod-podge. Ive seen Carry Cochran use this stuff at a seminar once, still cant remember the name. Maybe John can send you same pics he sent me. Very helpful.
Thanks Todd-I will look for one? Maybe I can John to send the pictures this way.
Matuska Taxidermy Supply Company has a product called the EZ-Nose applicator that sells for $2.95. You might want to also look at that.
Thanks - I do not have the catalog, but I will be contacting them for one. Again thanks for the tip.
..is from Paul Borkowski. I hear how its cheaper at walmart, and maybe it is. But Im not sure its the same thing. Pauls has metal tips to put on the bottle tips, and I just love them!
I took an 18 gauge needle ground tip flat to get rid of slant, fill syringe with modge podge works grat for me.
The nose applicator that I use is called a Tip Pen set. It is found in the craft section of Wal-Mart and sells for around $2.97. It comes with 3 metal tip heads and two screw on caps. What I did was purchased a small plastic bottle of water based art paint which was located on the same isle for .99 and then took it home and poured it's entire contects out into the trash can. Cleaned it out and then took the top screw on caps from the tip pen set and put it together.
This applicator has great control; no running all over the place and cleans up really well.
If anyone out there wants my nose schedule and the process of doing a
pretty good nose. Just e-mail me and I will forward you my painting schedule along with photo's. A photo tells a thousand words. But, even though it looks easy it will still take practice and that almighty proper APPLICATION. Oh, bare with me because it may take a little time for me to get to you. Remember, I still have to work.
Good Luck
John Griffith
