Cut on face

Submitted by Eric on 8/14/06 at 8:34 PM. ( ) 66.19.22.81

I've searched and still haven't found what I'm looking for. I have a triangle cut underneath the chin of the deer, can I put zap-a-gap on it? Or what should I use to sew it? Or would it be best to cut it into a football and then try sewing? I've asked a few times and I don't get the kind of responses I need.

Thanks
Eric

a cut or a hole?

If it is a cut, then just use good hide paste underneath like Buckeye Supreme and pin the cut closed until it dries. I never sew up cuts on the face unless it is large. Cutting out a section on the face to sew might throw off hair patterns. You don't have to cut a football shape if it is a cut, only if it is a hole.

Never super glue it

Use hide paste or sew, but cyanoacrylate will eventually crystalize and cause more problems down the road.

The reason

you dont get the exact answer you want is that each little hole is a case by case thing. You might sew one & pin the next two. It is an experience thing. If you sew I recomend Fine fireline & a tiny needle. Buckeye supreme for gluing & pinning.
