How to get velvet off of antlers

Need to know how to get velvet off of antlers. Appreciate any input. Thanks.

I usualy just soak them in a tub water for a few weeks. Every once in a while, pull them out and peel off the loose skin. After everything is stripped off, stain and mount. I don't use any chemicals in the water. Done several caribou this way and comes out fine.

All depends on what type and size antlers. A bull moose is not the same as a spike whitetail. Please indicated what animal you have.
