I am building a mechanical deer and need ideas for a remote to move the head left to right, and also reflective eyes. Any suggestions?

If you wait a few weeks, I'm refurbishing 2 deer decoys (new hides) for our DEC, I'll let you know how the mechanics work, although I know it's small hydraulics and trip armatures.

Gee Officer ! I thought it was real !

They are built with the same servos and batteries that are used in remote control planes and cars. You need the larger sizes due to the wieght of the head. It is important that the head swivals without much resistance or the servo won't be able to move it. I've made about half a dozen of them. Go talk to your local hobby shop and tell them what you are doing, they should be able to help.
