Oil sticks for scale tipping

I'm looking for a source of the gold and silver oil sticks that are being used for scale tipping. In the past couple years, I have heard both Jeff Lumsden and Jim Pitts talk about tipping using these oil sticks. I thought Jim said Research sells them, but I didn't see them in Research or any of the other suppliers (including WASCO). Can anyone tell me which supplier or art store carries them? What is the proper product name?
