I use clear shellac for my sealer as you mentioned that you do as well and was wondering if you have had any problems with this yet and what they were. Also, what do you prefer for a top coat ? Thanks, brad

I'm glad to see someone is listening! Shellac is a great sealer never have had a problem. As far as gloss, use what ever you can find locally. Test to see if its compatible with your paints. For average size fish I save myself clean up and I think $'s using a spray bomb from the local hardware store. Good Luck!

I have'nt had any problems with the shellac either and am reaching for it for many things , it's great stuff. Thanks for the info. B.Bishop
