to prepare a striper for mounting,after skinning, and fleshing, do i pickle and tan like an animal,or is the procedure different?

Striper Mounting

I am also mounting a striper...we caught so many of them at Lake Pyramid....the one I am mounting right now is about only 2lbs...small one....measuring about 19inches...this is the third fish I am mounting...I skinned it and tanned it in Van Dyke's fish tan just like a largemouth...I heard that its head has lots of i ended up taking out all the meat I can and also I took out almost all the bone in the head to a point the head was almost soft...and then I sculpted my own mannikin with Paper mache and a wire form....right now the striper has dried to a stage where all the tissue had I am now patching up missing scales and building up the head and lip tissues...
