Leave it carded until the fish is dry.

About a week. Use apoxie sculpt roll a piece about the size of a bb, place on the fish and work it with a moist finger.

You didn't

mention whether this was a pedestal or not. IF it's not you can also take scales from the oppisite side and transplant them to the other side with a carefull eye and a little super glue. Make sure you use an accurate size match up though. Peace- Jeff F.

I've always just simply rebuilt them...

I've never thought of swapping the backside scales. I would think that matching the size might be a bit difficult. Plus aren't you getting the mirrored/inverted version of the scale?

thanks, do you use your finger

or how would you create the scales out of apoxie, it is not a pedistal mount so i may just try to use the scales from the back
