HELP the worst has struck!

The throat latch skin has ripped and I am not sure how to fix it.
I am thinking that I wil have get it set in place on the manikin with hide paste and pins. I think I am on the right path but am not sure if there is a batter way to get it done.

Please let me know what you all think. Or if there is a bettr way out there. I love this place it makes my life so much easier to get info. Thanks

Throat latch

Fred, first of all, "what kind of fish" are we talking about? In any case ripped throat latch on any type of fish is simply a matter of glueing and pinning what you have in place. After it dries simply rebuild with epoxy and blend in well. Good luck...JL
