Anyone have whole largemouth bass they want to donate or sell me at a reasonable price. I have mounted one bass(skin mount)but I need to get more hands on experience. Only 20 inches and above and in good mounting condition please!

Thanks!

Why 20"

A 20" bass is large if, you are practicing why can't you accept any size someone would gift you, Sounds Fishy.

Okay! Above average size

Okay, 20" or close to it, although I don't think a fingerling would make a nice mount! I am also willing to pay for it.
I run across the average size ones on the lake when I'm out fishing!

two birds(er fish) with one stone!

Become a better fisherman. Besides, selling/buying game fish is illegal.

Why waste the resource?

If you've only done one fish the next few certainly aren't going to be going up on your (or anybody's) wall. You're going to get the same experience whether it's a 12" or a 22" bass. Therefore, why not use a size that's in abundance? Remember the old saying, "beggars can't be choosers"...

Well put Marty

Well put Marty you get just as much practice out of a smaller fish.

DK how about heavy 14 inchers?

I can pull out three in that size for $20.00 each. Minimum $60.00 order and price includes shipping.

All legal with proper paper trail.

How legal is it for you or anyone for that matter, to catch game fish and put them in your(a) pond? Just wondering. i thought it would be nice to stock my own private fishing hole. Thanks!

Marc it depends on the state

This response submitted by Cecil - Baird Fish Taxidermy and Fish Farm on 6/24/06 at 10:53 AM. ( ) 64.184.41.17

In my state of Indiana I can plant gamefish from public waters into my pond as long as I complied with minimum length, bag limits etc. However moving fish from public water to public water is strictly prohibited. Sadly it does occur on a regular basis and has caused problems all over the country.

I think DK wants something for nothing

Thanks for having me in your thoughts Cecil! I've got a 22 incher arriving in a couple of days! It's nice to know there's people out there who like to help someone out, unlike others who just want to clutter this forum with negative comments! You must be really
bored.(LoL)

Hey Cecil! Send me a message in a couple of years, when your 14" fatsoes have gained some length. I"ll be more than happy to contribute some cash to your slow growing stubby farm!LOL
