hide paste question

I am looking for a hide paste that i can buy from the hardware store or the home depot. I use polytranspar hide paste from WASCO now.Is there something like linolium glue orsomething i can use for a hide paste.What is polytranspar hide paste?

Latex caulking in a tube. I use it exclusively on fish and it really does the job.

linolium paste

I orderd some hide paste from a supply company. It smelled like linolium paste. I soaked it in water over night and pulled the lable off. Under the lable was directions how to clean the floor. I used some on a deer and it did not work very well. The next deer I mixed some dextrin with it and I could not believe how well it held everything in place. No drumming what so ever.
