This may fall under the category of "Things You Already Know" but...

In the handful of catalogs I have and the few places I shop, I have not seen a 49" pike. Fish Tales has a 46" in both a 21" girth and a 23" girth. I know these are a bit short of your mark but I think probably you could get it in the time frame you have.

I know NOTHING about muskies (Cecil?) but where you are working with blanks, could a muskie be substituted? Don't know on this and maybe I will have cries of outrage from those that do.
If so some companies have muskies that would fit your size criteria, but the time is probably the limiting factor.

Good luck in your searches. :-)

Try this!

Ron Reynolds had a mold of 50 x 22 muskie. Now taken over by McKenzie. Get ahold of Phil Helms and tell him of your predicament, he may be able to help.Lou Wynia of Minnesota has some muskie in the approximate range you are looking for, but I don't think you will get it by the date you are looking for unless you can talk him into a rush service.

Or this...

Mike at Fibertech might be able to fill the bill, except you would have to either make or buy flex fins. Bev at Bev's Fishcreations does some nice ones.

Terry I think it replacing a pike with a musky blank could

be done as long as the customer isn't aware of a few differences of the species. Most anglers woudn't know the difference if the musky blank was painted as a northern.

I wouldn't want to underestimate a customer's knowledge...

...but I wondered how great the differences could be. I've never laid eyes on a muskie and they have never been on the radar based on where I have lived, so I have never looked into it. Seems to me his bigger concern might be the time frame. That's one of the great things about this site- SOMEONE out there seems to always have an answer backed up by experience.
