Cecil, my name is shannon i'm from iowa and i'm fairly new to taxidermy. I'm looking at trying to get some fish to mount for
my taxidermy studio so i have some show pieces for my shop. I'm with
the understanding that you raise fish as well as taxidermy work.

I will post a price list in late September on this site. That is when I will take out all of my trout and drain that pond. Additionally I will drain the bass pond at that time also, and will post fish stats and prices. This way I can freeze the fish and know exactly what I have on hand.
As a rule of thumb other than taxidermy schools, the price of the bass is $15.00 per pound which includes shipping. Doubtful if there is anything over 5 lbs. Most of the bass are 3 to 3 1/2 pounds with slightl smaller one that I sell to taxidermy schools. Competition quality trout are a little more per pound. Prices vary depending on the size and quality of the fish.
I have female perch up to the 1 1/2 pound range and potentially above. Best time to get them from me is in April when they are at their maximum weight. Prices vary depending on the size.
Bluegills so far are a disappointment with only average size 8 1/2 inch bluegills. I have some black crappies in the freezer that I will just about give away for a five bucks a piece. However they average only 10 inches. If you're still interested in bluegills or crappies call me.
Gotta go. Work is waiting. Thank you for you inquiry. Call me anytime you have any questions Shannon.
