I wanted to send out my thanks to Rick Krane for the lessons he recently gave me. Rick is a first class act above all and an incredible taxidermist next. I was only out there for one week but it seems impossible to digest all of the information he gave me in that periond of time. I'm glad I took lots of pictures and notes!. His views on fish taxidermy and the anatomy of a fish are impeccable. This doesn't even touch on his painting techniques! If anyone is thinking about taking lessons from him I would highly reccommend them. I may have pushed him to the limit on my last day but he hung in there like a trooper with me and made sure I understood everthing I was learning, thanks again. He has turned me from a "piecer" to a "more than you need" epoxy man! LOL! Once again thanks Rick and I hope to see you again.

You are right about Rick he has so much knowledge, and is a very good person to top it off. I would highly recomend him to anyone who is serious about learning fish taxidermy. I was lucky enough to spend ten days with him witch I considered a priviledge. Thanks Again Rick. Hope things are going well Bill

I haven't studied under him but he is one of the best! Not only is he a great fish taxidermist but he has the sense and grace to stay above the fray on here!

to bad he cann't fish. I had to hook trout for him all day and then let him reel them in and he lost most of those. The truth is I really enjoyed his visit, and he outfished me because I broke my reel and he also gave me other excellent business advise. Great guy.

Holly Cow! Thank you!

I'm so greatful to have meet so many wondeful people in taxidermy. You guys make me feel like a friend! As you are to me! Thank you Cory for the kind words you are a very talented Taxidermist and I expect to see great not good things form you. As well as my equally talented friend Mr. Willis! Bill I have a nice brown here that will be in film forever in a day or so. Thank your for your patience Bill with the boxes! I really am blessed! An instructor is only as good as the people who are there to learn. Both of you gentlemen as like many before have come to Anglers artistry to learn fish taxidermy in hope of doing better work and to learn the craft you so enjoy. What I get is an opportunity to help in a small way to give you all what I have to assist you in being apart in getting there. Thank you both!

MR. Marsico! I still say thank you for holding my hand and showing me how to fish! LOL! I know you went watching when I sabotage your real! LOL! What can any one say about such a day! My Good friend and fellow fish head Dave Campbell were shown such hospitality and the best fishing I may ever have had the opportunity to experience in a single day! It was an honor to meet Jim and to see his shop! Jim is a REAL artist of the first order! His work and his friendship inspired me! To see inside a man's heart through his work was really a gift and so is his talents! I have said this to about 5 close friends when I grow up I want to be Jim Marsico!

Thanks again for the kind words and thank you all for your friendship! As I am here in Cleveland working with another real gentleman Joe Kastaway Kulis I once again learn that professionalism and a class comes with values in a discipline in life. Joe and I am working on what I will hope to be a good series of instructional DVD's on fish painting Skin and Reproductions. Tony Finnazo has already been out with Joe and did a great DVD series on painting Duck heads and feet for I think all the puddle and divers and every thing in-between including turkeys. Mary and Joe realty run a top-notch shop and business!

Well Off to sleep and back to filming tomorrow today was the filming of painting a Reproduction Smallmouth bass! I think it was fun!

My Best!
